What this website collects

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Its fonts are stored on our own server, so loading a page sends no data to font providers.

Hosting

The website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. When you visit, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical request data (such as browser type and the page requested) in server logs, to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. We have a legitimate interest in a secure, working website. For details, see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

When you email us

If you write to us, for example to request an AI visibility check, we use your message and contact details only to answer and, if you wish, to carry out the work. We delete them when they are no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep them.

The contact form sends your details to Zoho CRM, which we use to store and answer enquiries (Zoho Corporation). We use them only to reply and, if you wish, to do the work (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Maps and the free catchment check

Pages with an interactive map (the Prague case study and the free catchment check) load map tiles from the OpenStreetMap Foundation. The free catchment check runs in your browser. The address you type goes directly from your browser to the OpenStreetMap Foundation's address search (Nominatim), the location to an Overpass server (private.coffee, or FOSSGIS as a fallback). These services see your IP address, as any website does. Our website receives none of this data. Your browser keeps a small daily counter of checks (local storage) to protect the shared servers; it never leaves your device.

Which site sent you

When you arrive from another website (for example a search engine or an AI assistant such as chatgpt.com), that site's name is added to this page's links to our contact form. Nothing is stored on your device, and the name reaches us only if you send the form, as one line of your message, so we know which channels bring enquiries.

If you subscribe, your email address is sent to Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France), which sends you a confirmation email. You are added to the list only after you click the link in it (double opt-in). We use the address only to send new editions of the index, about once a month. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us at hello@getayka.com to delete your address. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Links to other sites

This website links to AYKA Tool Lab (tools.getayka.com), which has its own privacy page, and to Google Play. Our app Food Ayka has its own privacy policy, linked from its Google Play listing.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, restrict its use, or object to it. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in your country of residence.
